My family and I live in the heart of the majestic scenic area that runs between the states of Washington and Oregon. Incredible vistas lured us here and the dynamic light and color inspires my paintbrush on a daily basis.
Color-anything to do with it - has been my passion since childhood when a lovely British neighbor gegan giving me lessons in impressionistic painting. After college I taught art at the high school level, then moved on to start my own business. I have been joyously drawing, painting and sculpting ever since.
Backsplash, my ceramic tableware studio, has been the springboard for my recent designs for the home. Hand-painted wood and linens, tableware and sinks are just a few of the venues. Altough my use of color and design ranges from quiet to bold, my goal is to always incoroprate a sense of warmth and familiarity, that unmistakable "something" that feels like home.
I would
